  1. Draw a map of our island, with arrows coming in progressand out of our island for energy, water, food, and other stuff (technology, machines, repair stuff, building materials, etc.)
  2. Track the following through one of your days:
    1. where does your breakfast, lunch and dinner come from?
    2. how much comes from this island?
    3. where does the rest come from and how does it get here?
    4. how do you get to work, or if you are a boarder, to town, Kona or the airport?
    5. where does the energy to do this come from?
    6. where does your water come from?
    7. how is it pumped, and by whom?
    8. where does the energy to do this come from?
    9. how could you change these?
    10. how does this compare to the Ahupua'a model you made earlier?
