  • Our island is energy rich, but resource dependent
  • This lab will focus on the energy part, another lab will focus on our resource dependence
  • On an island wall map, locate all sources of energy on our island, including large Photovoltaic (PV) arrays, hydroelectric (dams), Geothermal, and wind energy.
  • On each location, describe two things:
    • is the energy 24 hour, or only part of each day
    • at the bottom, list the daily and annual energy use of our island
    • daily production in progresskWh or mWh
    • annual energy production in mWh
    • explain at the bottom why energy storage is needed here
  • Create a global energy map with the same sources listed, and a legend for each
